Job summary

Blue Origin seeks a Technical Specialist Sr to join the Avionics & Control Products (ACP) team in the Greater Seattle area. You will help design, build, integrate, and validate component testers for avionics and ground support equipment, enabling safe, repeatable spaceflight.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or 10+ years in aerospace test.
• 5+ years in electrical/electro-mechanical assemblies.
• Ability to interpret schematics, wiring diagrams and assembly procedures.

Responsibilities

• Participate in requirements, design, architecture, procurement, build, integration, and checkout of component testers.
• Support development environment with open box testing and card-to-card level testing.
• Perform checkout and troubleshooting of electronic assemblies.
• Create and release drawings of component hardware infrastructure, rack layouts, harnesses, panels, power, grounding.
• Create and release manufacturing work orders and maintain supply chain.
• Coordinate with technicians for build, assembly and installation of equipment and harnesses.
• Support integration of flight avionics, hardware, consoles, test equipment to verify requirements and performance.
• Maintain configuration control of drawings and tester configuration.
• Assemble component test electrical and mechanical systems from drawings.
• Build, test and rework cable and harness assemblies.
