Qualifications

• Bandsaw or metal-cutting machinery experience preferred.
• Diagnosis of technical problems remotely via conversations with customers and technicians.
• Excellent communication and scheduling skills; manage multiple requests and changing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary technical resource for customers needing service and support.
• Answer customer questions by phone, email, and other channels.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and machine-control issues remotely.
• Review electrical and hydraulic drawings to diagnose equipment problems.
• Determine the likely cause of equipment issues and recommend corrective actions.
• Determine when remote resolution is possible versus on-site visits.
• Coordinate scheduling and dispatch of field service technicians.
• Match service requirements with technician skills and experience.
• Communicate schedules and technical findings to technicians prior to dispatch.
• Monitor open service requests and ensure timely completion.
• Provide advanced troubleshooting to field technicians and escalate complex issues.
