Job summary

M & M Production USA is seeking a highly technical Technical Sales Manager to bridge engineering, custom technology solutions, and live event sales. You will translate client visions into safe, actionable designs, create show layouts, and train the sales team on evolving event technologies.

The role includes managing CAD-based design, rigging compliance, and data-driven procurement while supporting pitches and site walks with enterprise clients.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in live event production, AV integration, entertainment rigging, or structural layout.
• Experience in technical sales, estimating, project management, or customer-facing production roles.
• Proficiency with Vectorworks Spotlight, AutoCAD, or comparable CAD software.

Responsibilities

• Technical Lead Cultivation: identify, qualify, and nurture high-potential leads and enterprise accounts; act as the technical heavyweight in early-stage discovery.
• Pitch Support & client consultation: join pitches and site Walkthroughs; translate rigging, AV and software capabilities into compelling presentations.
• CAD & Show Design: create 2D/3D production layouts, renderings, floor plans, and staging designs using CAD software.
• Rigging Plot Design: draft detailed plots with loads, bridle configurations, trim heights, and equipment placement respecting venue constraints.
• Engineering & Compliance Oversight: oversee rigging approvals, coordinate with venue management and engineers to meet codes and safety limits.
