Job summary

Overland AI seeks a high-ownership Contract Technical Recruiter to scale our technical teams during a growth phase. You will own full-cycle recruiting, partner with hiring managers, and build strong candidate pipelines for software engineering roles in robotics and autonomy.

This role can be remote or based in Seattle, WA, with a 9-month contract-to-hire path and competitive benefits after conversion. The ideal candidate brings 4+ years in full-cycle recruiting, strong stakeholder management,

Qualifications

• 4+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience.
• Experience recruiting for software engineering roles (robotics, autonomy, infrastructure).
• Strong stakeholder management with technical leaders.
• Experience managing multiple open roles simultaneously.
• Proficiency with ATS platforms (Rippling) and sourcing tools (LinkedIn Recruiter).
• Excellent communication skills to engage and close candidates.
• Ability to work autonomously while collaborating cross-functionally.

Responsibilities

• Own full-cycle recruiting across technical roles, including sourcing, screening, interview coordination, and closing candidates.
• Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements and drive hiring strategies.
• Build and maintain pipelines through outbound sourcing, referrals, and creative engagement.
• Develop understanding of Overland’s mission, technology, and culture; communicate to candidates.
• Drive a high-quality candidate experience with clear communication and speed.
• Track recruiting metrics to identify areas for improvement and efficiency.
• Advise hiring managers on market trends and candidate profiles.
