Job summary

Valar Atomics Inc. seeks a Senior Technical Recruiter to lead full-cycle recruiting for engineering and technical roles. You will partner with hiring managers to shape hiring strategies, identify top talent, and scale our team with urgency and ownership. This is an on-site role at our Torrance, CA headquarters.

You will source, assess, and close candidates in competitive markets, while championing an inclusive, high-quality candidate experience and aligning with Valar’s standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in technical recruiting.
• Proven track record of hiring for engineering or other highly technical roles.
• Experience sourcing passive candidates in competitive talent markets.
• Strong ability to assess candidate quality and alignment beyond resumes.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple searches and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience improving or streamlining recruiting or operational processes.
• High level of ownership, accountability, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Become the subject matter expert across engineering, manufacturing, and other specialized functions and partner with senior leadership and hiring managers on defining and identifying top talent.
• Develop and execute creative sourcing strategies and engage top-tier technical talent.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to hiring managers and the interview team, defining role requirements and interview plans.
• Develop ideas and strategies to improve the funnel, refine interview processes, research new tools, and stay updated on industry trends and market data.
• Drive an efficient interview process from initial outreach to close.
• Advocate for an excellent candidate experience and champion diversity, equity, and inclusion.
