Job summary

Valar Atomics in Torrance, CA is seeking a Senior Technical Recruiter to lead full-cycle recruiting for engineering and technical roles. You will partner with hiring managers to shape strategies and identify top talent in competitive markets.

This on-site role requires urgency, ownership, and a high bar for talent as we scale across aerospace, energy, and hardware-focused programs. You will manage pipelines, refine interview processes, and champion an exceptional candidate experience.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in technical recruiting.
• Proven track record of hiring for engineering or other highly technical roles.
• Experience sourcing passive candidates in competitive talent markets.
• Strong ability to assess candidate quality and alignment beyond resumes.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple searches and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience improving or streamlining recruiting or operational processes.
• High level of ownership, accountability, and attention to detail.
• Based in or willing to relocate to Torrance, CA.

Responsibilities

• Become the subject matter expert across engineering and other specialized functions and partner with senior leadership and hiring managers on defining top talent needs.
• Develop and execute sourcing strategies for top-tier technical talent and use your expertise to close.
• Serve as trusted advisor to hiring managers and interview teams, defining role requirements and interview plans.
• Improve the funnel, build equitable interview processes, and stay current with technology trends and market data.
• Drive an efficient, high-quality interview process from outreach to close.
• Advocate for an excellent candidate experience and champion diversity, equity, and inclusion.
