Job summary

Nooks is seeking a Technical Recruiter in San Francisco to shape our engineering and product teams. You will partner with hiring managers to understand complex needs, proactively source candidates, and provide a seamless recruitment experience.

This role focuses on full-cycle recruiting for Software Engineers, ML Engineers, and Product roles, including university recruiting events. You will manage candidate experience, build a strong pipeline, and translate needs into compelling job descriptions.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of technical recruiting experience.
• Proven experience recruiting for engineering, product, and/or data science roles.
• Strong understanding of technical roles and skills (e.g. ML, DevOps, Frontend/Backend development).
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple roles and candidates at once.
• Exceptional communication skills with a commitment to providing an outstanding candidate experience.
• BA/BS degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build and nurture a pipeline of top technical talent for future opportunities, ensuring Nooks stays ahead of the curve.
• Full-cycle recruiting for technical roles, including Software Engineers, Machine Learning Engineers, and Product roles.
• Partner with engineering and product leaders to understand hiring needs and translate them into compelling job descriptions and recruiting strategies.
• Source candidates using multiple channels including online platforms, referrals, and networking.
• Manage the candidate experience end-to-end, from initial contact to onboarding.
• Program Manage University Recruiting Events through research and leveraging existing teammates to attract top university talent.
• Maintain recruiting metrics and communicate progress to the engineering team and leadership.
