Nooks is hiring a Technical Recruiter in San Francisco to build and manage a pipeline of top technical talent, partnering with engineering and product leaders.

You will handle full-cycle recruiting for Software Engineers, Machine Learning Engineers, and Product roles, source candidates, and own the candidate experience. Role is onsite 3 days/week with a strong emphasis on equity and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of technical recruiting experience.
• Proven experience recruiting for engineering, product, and data science roles.
• Strong understanding of ML, DevOps, frontend/backend skills.

Responsibilities

• Build and nurture a pipeline of top technical talent for future opportunities across Software, ML, and Product roles.
• Full-cycle recruiting for technical roles from sourcing to offer and onboarding.
• Partner with engineering and product leaders to translate hiring needs into compelling job descriptions and recruiting strategies.
• Source candidates via multiple channels including online platforms, referrals, and networking.
• Manage the candidate experience end-to-end with a positive, engaging process from initial contact to onboarding.
• Lead university recruiting events and coordinate with teams to attract top talent.
• Maintain recruiting metrics and report progress to leadership.

The role

As a Technical Recruiter at Nooks, you will be instrumental in shaping the future of our engineering and product teams. You'll partner with hiring managers to understand the complex needs of technical roles, proactively source candidates, and provide a seamless recruitment experience. Your expertise will be critical as we continue scaling our engineering capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Build and nurture a pipeline of top technical talent for future opportunities, ensuring Nooks stays ahead of the curve.
• Full-cycle recruiting for technical roles, including Software Engineers, Machine Learning Engineers, and Product roles.
• Partner with engineering and product leaders to understand their hiring needs, and translate those into compelling job descriptions and recruiting strategies.
• Source candidates using multiple channels including online platforms, referrals, and networking.
• Manage the candidate experience end-to-end, ensuring a positive and engaging process from initial contact to onboarding.
• Program Manage University Recruiting Events through research and leveraging existing teammates in order to attract top university talent.
• Maintain recruiting metrics and communicate progress to the engineering team and leadership.

Requirements

• 6+ years of technical recruiting experience, ideally within a startup or high-growth environment.
• Proven experience recruiting for engineering, product, and/or data science roles.
• Strong understanding of technical roles and skills (e.g. ML, DevOps, Frontend/Backend development).
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple roles and candidates at once.
• Exceptional communication skills with a commitment to providing an outstanding candidate experience.
• BA/BS degree preferred.

The target salary range for this role is $120,000 - $180,000. On top of this, we offer equity, generous perks, and comprehensive benefits.
