Job summary

Cleaver-Brooks is seeking a Technical Publications Manager to lead documentation strategy, governance, and continuous improvement across product lines. You will collaborate with Engineering, Product Management, Service, Training, Manufacturing, and Marketing to support new product development and updates.

The role requires DITA-based authoring, CCMS leadership, and the ability to interpret engineering drawings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Technical Communication, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of technical documentation experience in manufacturing, industrial, or engineering environments.
• Experience leading documentation projects, programs, or teams.
• DTTA-based authoring and CCMS experience.
• Strong communication, organizational, and project management skills.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Technical Publications function and establish documentation standards, processes, and best practices.
• Manage development and maintenance of installation, operation, maintenance, and service documentation.
• Own structured authoring and content reuse initiatives in the CCMS environment.
• Collaborate with engineering teams and SMEs to develop accurate technical content.
• Establish content architecture, terminology standards, and publishing workflows.
• Manage documentation priorities, project schedules, and resource planning.
• Drive continuous improvement for quality, efficiency, and scalability.
