Job summary

Lincoln Electric is seeking a Technical Publications Specialist to develop high-quality operation, installation, and parts manuals for our vehicle-mounted power solutions in Michigan City, Indiana. You will work with engineers, product managers and service teams to deliver clear, accurate documentation.

Responsibilities include editing, formatting, and publishing master files, handling CAD/vector graphics in Adobe Illustrator and using Word/Excel for data and tracking.

Qualifications

• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat) or willingness to learn.
• Minimum 1 year experience in a technical publication role.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Strong organizational, written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Create, edit and publish operation, installation, and parts list manuals and user guides.
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers and service teams to gather data.
• Maintain records of revisions and ensure consistency with standards.
• Prepare content from CAD or vendor graphics for publication.
