Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or a related technical discipline required.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience leading complex product development or systems integration projects.
• Proven experience delivering connected products involving embedded firmware, software, cloud services, and integrated hardware systems.
• Experience leading cross-functional engineering teams.
• Experience managing complex technical dependencies from concept through commercialization.
• Strong leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and executive presentation skills.
• Experience with Agile, Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), and traditional waterfall or phase-gate development methodologies.
• Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Project, and related project management tools.
• Experience within Electronic Access Control (EAC), physical security, or related connected-device industries strongly preferred.
• PMP, SAFe, or equivalent project management certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex product development and systems integration projects involving embedded firmware, software, cloud services, and Electronic Access Control solutions.
• Drive programs from concept and business approval through commercialization and full-scale production.
• Coordinate cross-functional, multi-location teams and partner with system architects, product owners, product managers, software and firmware teams, and senior stakeholders.
• Define requirements, priorities, interfaces, and delivery plans.
• Establish and maintain project plans, schedules, dependencies, risks, issues, and escalations.
• Drive execution through project reviews, stakeholder communication, governance, and milestone tracking.
• Use SAFe and traditional waterfall/phase-gate methodologies.
• Collaborate with project managers, scrum masters, and the AEH Program Management Office.
• Improve project management practices, tools, and processes.
• Achieve key milestones and launch objectives.
