Job summary

Jobtailor in Bentonville, AR is seeking a Security Technology Project Manager to lead end-to-end installs of fire alarm, intrusion, CCTV, and paging systems from kickoff to turnover. You will coordinate with Construction, contractors, and vendors, manage schedules and budgets, enforce drawings and specs, identify risks, and deliver commissioning and final acceptance with clear documentation.

Requires BS in engineering or related field with 2 years' experience or 4 years in security systems;

Responsibilities

• Manage security technology projects from kickoff through installation and turnover.

Job description

• Manage security technology projects from construction kickoff through installation, commissioning, acceptance, and turnover
• Oversee third-party integrators installing fire alarm, intrusion alarm, CCTV, and paging systems
• Coordinate installation activities with Construction, contractors, technology teams, vendors, and other project stakeholders
• Track schedules, milestones, material readiness, risks, costs, contractor performance, and project status
• Ensure work follows approved drawings, scopes, specifications, and company standards
• Identify installation issues and project risks and drive timely resolution
• Coordinate system testing, inspections, commissioning, punch-list completion, and final acceptance
• Maintain project documentation and provide status, risk, and escalation updates
• Partner with Security Technology design and engineering teams on technical clarifications or design changes
• Drive execution aligned with construction schedules, scope, budget, and milestones
• Coordinate Construction, Security Technology, Operations, Compliance, and integrators

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Computer Science, Business, or related field and 2 years’ experience in security systems, electronics, or related area OR 4 years’ experience in security systems, electronics, or related area
• Experience managing low-voltage, security technology, life safety, or construction projects
• Understanding of installation and commissioning of fire alarm, intrusion alarm, CCTV, and paging systems
• Ability to manage multiple integrators and projects in active construction environments
• Ability to hold contractors accountable for schedule, quality, scope, documentation, and project commitments
• Ability to identify risks and drive issues through resolution
• Strong communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Strong organization, follow-through, and attention to project execution
