Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager to coordinate design, development, testing, and deployment of complex features across multiple technical teams. You will own milestones, risks, and dependencies, describe and prioritize requirements, and drive delivery with data-driven decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science or equivalent.
• 5+ years of technical product or program management experience working directly with software engineering teams
• 7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience
• Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the design, development, testing and deployment of features into production across multiple technical teams.
• Create and track project milestones, risks and dependencies, and describe, own and prioritize all technical requirements associated with delivery.
• Dive deep into design details of systems, especially customer interfaces and dependencies.
• Identify needed changes to existing systems/services during early project phases and work with system owners to estimate effort.
• Own the implementation plan across teams and report progress against milestones to stakeholders.
• Understand business problems, automation limits, scaling factors, and reason behind decisions.
• Demonstrate judgment on when to elevate issues to leadership.
• Be data-oriented, review metrics, and seek new data/mechanisms for visibility.
• Ensure programs stay aligned with organizational goals and stakeholder needs.
