Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a senior program management professional to drive execution of complex aerospace projects within the Blue Ring portfolio. You will coordinate across engineering, finance, legal, and supply chain to track scope, schedule, and cost, delivering recovery plans when needed and ensuring successful on-time delivery.

The role requires extensive aerospace program management experience, DFARs knowledge, and strong leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, management, or engineering or equivalent in years of experience.
• 15+ years of experience in program management and/or program planning in the aerospace industry
• Experience on Aerospace Development Programs and/or Space Systems
• Strong understanding DFARs based contracts
• Experience leading civil and commercial programs from concept through delivery
• Bias for action with results-oriented mindset
• Ability to earn trust and maintain professional relationships

Responsibilities

• Primary point of contact for program deliverables and SOW
• Manage contractual data deliveries; support scope definition and baselining; budget management; relationships across customers; staffing and scope management; spend planning and risk management
• Prioritize weekly and monthly tasking across multiple organizations and functions
• Lead financial performance of program accounts and subsystems
• Organize and conduct staff meetings, reviews, monthly reporting, and planning cycles
• Lead planning, control, and recovery efforts to baselines and variances
• Coordinate with Finance, Legal, Supply Chain, and IT for interfaces and standards
• Represent BU interests on proposals; sign-off on content
