Loft Orbital is seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager to join our Infrastructure team and help deliver complex work efficiently and predictably. You’ll coordinate workloads, support global on‑call operations, and improve the team’s ways of working to ensure risks and escalations are visible and managed.

This high‑autonomy role offers broad visibility and a chance to shape how Loft scales its satellite fleet while collaborating with multiple teams across Infrastructure, Operations,

Qualifications

• 8+ years of technical program/project management experience in SW and Service Operations.
• Proficiency with Jira and Confluence.
• Demonstrated experience facilitating Agile development teams (Scrum, Kanban, or similar).
• Analytical mindset plus ability to develop processes and automate where possible.
• Strong interpersonal skills; capable of influencing others without formal authority.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to develop materials for an executive audience.
• Ability to travel at least once per quarter for cross‑office collaboration.

• Support on‑call scheduling across global timezones.
• Own the ways of working within the Infrastructure team and ensure processes are followed and aligned to standards.

Loft Orbital is making space simple by building and operating the infrastructure that enables our customers’ missions. We’re looking for a Senior Technical Program Manager to join our Infrastructure team and help deliver complex work efficiently and predictably.

In this role, you’ll bring structure and clarity to a highly cross‑functional environment. You’ll coordinate workloads and programs, support global on‑call operations, strengthen the team’s ways of working, and make sure risks, dependencies, and escalations are visible and managed. Your work will directly improve the efficiency of our engineering teams and the reliability and scalability of our satellite operations.

This is a high‑autonomy role with broad visibility and significant room to shape how you work. You’ll have the opportunity to make a direct impact on how Loft manages and scales its satellite fleet while partnering with teams across Infrastructure, Operations, Solutions, Product Engineering, and other functions.

• Background in space industry, tech startups, organizations building both hardware and software solutions
• Previous experience working with an international team across time zones
• Experience in product management or working closely with product teams
• Experience with Python or automation/scripting in software engineering environments and metric generation
