Akamai Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager to own end-to-end delivery of strategic IT programs. You will lead initiatives from planning through execution and sustainment, reporting benefits to executives and governance boards.

You will manage program health, plan deliverables, and drive cross-functional collaboration with engineering, applications, and security teams. This role requires a strong track record in enterprise projects and stakeholder management,

Qualifications

• 8 years of relevant IT program experience.
• Project/Program management in an IT organization.
• Technical credibility to evaluate risks and issues.
• Experience with Enterprise Applications projects.
• Experience managing external implementation providers.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and communication skills.
• Proven stakeholder management and senior-leadership communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead program definition, planning, scope, and execution; monitor health and mitigate risks and issues.
• Define integrated program plans with detailed work breakdown structures and deliverables.
• Identify dependencies and size/lead transformation opportunities.
• Drive stakeholder alignment and report status to executive sponsors and governance boards.
• Work independently in ambiguous environments to create clear paths forward for teams.
• Adopt best-practice PMO guidelines to improve processes.
