Job summary

Akamai Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager to lead cross-functional initiatives from concept to market. You will coordinate product and engineering teams, manage complex programs, and drive on-time, on-budget delivery with measurable impact on customer satisfaction.

You will mentor teams, communicate status to senior leaders, and apply your technical expertise to guide strategic decisions in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 8 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree or its equivalent
• Experience navigating ambiguity, managing risks, and adapting to changing priorities
• Demonstrate ability to inspire people at all levels of the organization without direct authority
• Demonstrate solid capability in change management and transformation processes
• Experience with Agile methodologies and managing cross-functional technical teams

Responsibilities

• Leading the full software development lifecycle and product development process for various solutions
• Managing complex, multi-disciplinary programs from concept to market including schedule and investment tracking
• Driving cross-functional activities and deliverables to ensure on-time and within-budget completion
• Applying technical knowledge and initiative to contribute actively in collaborative team discussions
• Utilizing clear written and verbal communication skills to foster trust and facilitate coordinated execution
• Communicating program status and expectation changes to senior leaders using standardized methods
• Providing technical guidance, mentorship, and collaborative leadership to cross-functional team members
