Job summary

Google is seeking a Technical Program Manager within Google Global Infrastructure to lead multi-disciplinary projects from requirements to delivery. You will work with stakeholders to plan, assess risks, manage schedules, and clearly communicate with cross‑functional partners across the company.

You’ll explain analyses to executives and discuss tradeoffs with engineers. The role focuses on end-to-end delivery of Google's global layer‑1 physical network infrastructure, bridging network planning

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
2 years of experience in program management.
Experience with vendor management.
Experience working with metropolitan/long haul fiber network delivery and ISP/OSP construction.

Responsibilities

Oversee and perform fiber characterization and acceptance testings to ensure fiber paths meet Google Acceptance Standards.
Create, track, and update project data across internal systems and databases.
Identify and investigate operational discrepancies and driving rectification efforts on a case‑by‑case basis.
Acts as the primary operational link with external telecommunication vendors and internal teams to ensure physical connectivity is delivered on time and within specifications.
