Job summary

Glumac is seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager in Austin to lead complex programs for Advanced Manufacturing clients, spanning semiconductor, microelectronics, and data center environments. You will guide planning, scope, schedule, and budget while managing senior client relationships and business development efforts.

This role demands PE licensure, 10+ years in AEC project leadership, and the ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams across design and construction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering.
• Active Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• 10+ years in design, PM, program or construction management within AEC.
• Experience managing design/construction of semiconductors, microelectronics, R&D, advanced manufacturing, or data centers.
• Experience leading multiple large-scale, interconnected projects with multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience forecasting, budgeting, and reporting for programs and projects.
• Experience managing client relationships, pursuits, proposals, and RFP/RFQ responses.
• Senior-level oversight across planning, design, construction, and closeout.
• Ability to travel to client facilities; commutable distance to Glumac office; US work authorization.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, development, and execution of complex programs for Advanced Manufacturing clients.
• Serve as Principal-in-Charge and senior client interface for large projects.
• Oversee scope, schedule, budget, quality, and contractual commitments; manage program risks.
• Lead client management and business development activities; identify opportunities.
• Coordinate proposals, RFP/RFQ responses, scopes of work, and contract negotiations.
• Provide financial oversight: forecasting, budgeting, revenue, backlog, profitability.
• Provide cross-functional leadership across engineering, architecture, construction, and PM teams.
• Mentor engineering and PM professionals; support succession planning and delivery practices.
• Establish program governance and reporting; communicate status and risks to clients.
• Travel to client sites to provide executive-level engagement and oversight.
