Job summary

Eliassen Group is seeking a Sr Technical Project/Program Manager to lead planning and delivery of digital technology initiatives for a state health plan. This remote contract role focuses on enterprise initiatives, provider portal enhancements, and delivery-process improvements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of related Project Management experience, or 7+ years in lieu of degree.
• Experience delivering digital projects for insurance, healthcare or provider portal initiatives.
• Strong understanding of Agile, SDLC, release planning and governance frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, execution, and delivery for digital initiatives through integrated project plans, schedules, milestones, roadmaps, and release timelines.
• Coordinate efforts across Agile teams, engineering, product, business stakeholders, vendors, and enterprise programs.
• Identify, assess, track, and manage risks, issues, assumptions, dependencies, and decisions with timely escalation.
• Ensure alignment with governance standards, delivery methodologies, compliance requirements, and quality expectations.
• Manage resources, capacity, team allocations, and delivery constraints while supporting forecasting and execution planning.
• Translate complex technical delivery information into clear, actionable updates for business partners and executives.
