Job summary

Applied Materials is seeking a Senior TPS V (E5) to own regional product strategy and fleet health, acting as the technical authority for assigned products. You will lead escalations, drive cross-functional initiatives, mentor teams, and influence BU roadmaps with field feedback.

The role emphasizes proactive problem solving, safety and compliance, and strong leadership to deliver reliable product performance and customer satisfaction. Travel up to 25% is required.

Qualifications

• 10+ years semiconductor equipment experience.
• Advanced knowledge of DDP platforms and chamber technologies.
• Proven track record leading high-impact customer escalations.
• Experience managing cross-functional projects involving BU, Engineering, Quality, GPS, and customers.

Responsibilities

• Escalation management from identification through closure with containment and root-cause actions.
• Lead strategic initiatives: NPI support, chamber recovery programs, platform conversions and retrofits.
• Own fleet performance: uptime, MTBF, MTTR, defects, and utilization; drive standardization.
• Engage with customers and present technical findings, recovery plans, and long-term solutions.
• Interface with Engineering & BU to drive field issues, validation of corrective actions, and fleet-wide implementations.
• Create and maintain knowledge assets (BKMs, guides, procedures).
• Uphold safety, PSER, and compliance requirements; mentor local teams.
