Job summary

Delta Electronics Americas seeks a Senior Technical Product Manager for GW-scale utility microgrid solutions to define the roadmap, business cases, and partner strategy for grid-connected offerings.

The role focuses on converting large-scale opportunities into repeatable, productized solutions, guiding internal teams and external partners, and aligning engineering with market needs in utility-scale energy infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, Energy Systems, or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in utility, grid modernization, DER, BESS, microgrids, power systems, or energy infrastructure.
• Product management, solution management, application engineering, R&D leadership, or engineering management with customer-facing exposure.
• Strong understanding of utility requirements, interconnection, protection, grid services, grid-scale BESS, DER integration, or power system studies.
• Ability to translate market and customer needs into business cases, technical requirements, product roadmaps, and cost targets.
• Experience working with utilities, IPPs, EPCs, developers, OEMs, or grid technology partners.

Responsibilities

• Define product strategy, roadmap, and business cases for utility-scale microgrid solutions.
• Translate utility and grid-edge needs into clear product requirements and cost targets.
• Define Delta’s role in utility microgrid solutions, including internal ownership vs. partner-delivery.
• Establish requirements for utility-scale architectures, including HV/MV systems, BESS, PCS, controls, and EMS/SCADA interfaces.
• Benchmark competitors, partner ecosystems, and emerging grid-scale business models.
• Work closely with internal engineering teams and external partners.
• Challenge engineering to deliver differentiated, cost-effective, scalable products.
• Support product launches, portfolio reviews, and customer-facing technical positioning.
