Job summary

Great American Insurance Group is seeking a Senior Technical Product Manager to lead product strategy and execution within P&C IT Services in the United States. The role emphasizes end-to-end product delivery, collaboration with stakeholders, and ensuring alignment between business goals and technology capabilities.

The position requires a Bachelor’s in IT/CS and at least 6 years of Technical Product Management experience, with Lean methodologies and Extreme Programming understanding preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Generally, a minimum of 6 years of related experience that includes experience in Technical Product Management.
• Certification in Lean methodologies preferred, with a strong understanding of product development and development framework -- ideally Extreme Programming.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for End-to-End delivery within the defined product.
• Accountable for partnering with other dependent teams and their delivery leads for successful product delivery.
• Coordinates with Product Owners, TPMs, and Delivery Leads to resolve blockers and delivery conflicts.
• Ensures backlog is refined, sustainable, and actionable by delivery team.
• Partners with delivery team to facilitate team ceremonies (standup, planning, retro, etc.).
• Responsible for partnering with tech team to understand technical direction and capabilities for decision making and trade‑off discussions.
• Monitors and ensures product performance and metrics meet expected results.
