Job summary

Kong Inc., the AI Connectivity Company, seeks a Senior Technical PMM to own the technical narrative around AI traffic management, gateway, and guardrails. You will shape messaging for LLM routing, policy enforcement, and multi-agent governance, and oversee demos and reference architectures.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in product marketing, PMM, or solutions engineering, preferably in AI/ML platforms.
• Ability to translate complex AI concepts into clear, credible narratives for technical and executive audiences.
• Strong collaboration across Product, Marketing, Sales, and Partners.
• Experience with open-source or SaaS go-to-market motions is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own positioning and messaging for AI traffic management and AI gateway guardrails.
• Drive registry and discovery story for AI, MCP, and agent registries.
• Lead technical field enablement for Kong Solution Engineers and Customer Success Managers.
• Represent Kong at events, briefings, webinars, and customer conversations; create demos and content.
• Produce demos, reference architectures, whitepapers, and documentation-aligned content.
• Partner with product on roadmap narrative and market framing.
• Support launches and campaigns with technical positioning and assets.
• Mentor the AI PMM team to elevate technical storytelling.
