Job summary

Kong Inc. is seeking a Senior Technical PMM to own the technical narrative for AI traffic management and governance. You will craft positioning for the AI gateway, lead field enablement, and drive the registry/discovery story across AI, MCP, and agent registries.

You will also represent Kong at events and produce technical content to guide engineers and executives. You will collaborate with product, marketing, sales, and partners to shape roadmaps and launch motions, mentoring the team to

Qualifications

• 7+ years in product marketing, product management, or solutions engineering in AI/ML contexts.
• Hands-on interest in AI infrastructure like deployment, governance, and runtimes.
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into crisp narratives for technical and executive audiences.
• Highly collaborative across Product, Marketing, Sales and Partner teams.
• Comfortable with keynote presentations, analyst briefings and demos.
• Experience with open-source software, SaaS platforms, and enterprise GTM motions.
• Familiarity with AI connectivity landscape and related vendors is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own positioning and messaging for AI traffic management and Kong's AI gateway capabilities.
• Drive the registry and discovery story for AI, MCP, and agent registries.
• Lead technical field enablement for Kong Solution Engineers and other teams.
• Serve as technical evangelist at events, briefings, webinars, and customer talks.
• Produce deep technical content including demos, whitepapers, and reference architectures.
• Collaborate with product to shape roadmap narrative and sequencing for market impact.
• Support launches and campaigns with technical positioning and proof points.
• Mentor the team to raise standards of technical storytelling.
