NYSTEC is seeking a senior consultant – technical project manager to lead large-scale IT and cybersecurity remediation projects in support of NYSTEC clients. This onsite Albany role requires permanent New York residents within commuting distance.

You will coordinate with teams, vendors, and agency stakeholders, manage scope, schedules, risks, and deliverables using Microsoft Project, and report progress to sponsors and executives.

Qualifications

• Experience leading large-scale IT projects including design, procurement, and integration.
• Ability to coordinate with vendors, providers, and agency stakeholders.
• Proven leadership and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication.

Responsabilités

• Communicate project vision and risks to teams and executives.
• Lead projects and multiple teams, delegate and coach.
• Define scope, deliverables, schedules using Microsoft Project.
• Develop project artifacts for cybersecurity projects per ITS standards.
• Identify risks and implement mitigation plans with change management.
• Negotiate with NYS agencies and stakeholders to support program deliverables.
• Facilitate meetings and adapt to changing priorities.
