Job summary

Cumming Group in Charlotte, NC is seeking an experienced Senior Technical Project Manager - CSA to lead complex construction and capital projects from planning through closeout. You will oversee scope, schedule, budget, design management, procurement, and construction execution while delivering exceptional client service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
• 10+ years of project management experience in construction or capital projects.
• Experience leading large, multi-stakeholder projects with strong communication.
• Professional certifications such as PMP, CCM, PE, AIA, or LEED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead all phases of project delivery from planning to closeout.
• Manage project scope, schedule, budget, and risk with alignment to client objectives.
• Drive value engineering initiatives and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Lead project teams, consultants, contractors, and key stakeholders to ensure success.
• Develop project management plans, budgets, fee proposals, and cost projections.
• Oversee permitting, entitlement, zoning, and regulatory approvals.
• Conduct constructability reviews and provide strategic recommendations.
• Monitor project performance, evaluate scope changes, and implement corrective actions.
• Lead contract administration, negotiations, and claims resolution.
• Mentor and lead project management team members while delegating responsibilities.
