Job summary

ERM seeks a Technical Partner to grow our Natural Resources practice, supporting power, renewable energy, diversified energy, and technology clients across North America. Location: hybrid role based in any ERM office in the USA.

You will lead in biological resources, ecological mitigation, habitat conservation, ecological restoration, and environmental permitting, advising clients on major infrastructure projects while expanding ERM's market presence and technical capabilities.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in environmental science, engineering, or related field.
• 15+ years of progressive experience in environmental consulting.
• Proven leadership in mitigation and ecorestoration, including endangered species and habitat conservation.
• Deep understanding of conventional and renewable energy markets in North America.
• Strong business development track record, generating and delivering multi-million-dollar programs.
• Expertise in HCPs, and regional permitting.

Responsibilities

• Lead business development and client engagement activities within the Power, Diversified Energy, and Technology sectors.
• Provide senior technical leadership for biological resources, ecological restoration, habitat conservation, and environmental permitting programs.
• Support clients through project planning, permitting, construction, and operations phases.
• Develop and grow key client relationships while identifying opportunities for additional services.
• Mentor and develop technical staff and project managers.
• Collaborate with ERM partners and service line leaders to support regional and national growth initiatives.
• Drive project delivery excellence while meeting financial, safety, and quality objectives.
