Job summary

ERM is seeking a Technical Partner to help grow our Natural Resources practice, with a focus on supporting power, renewable energy, diversified energy, and technology sector clients across North America. This hybrid role can be based in any ERM office in the USA.

You will provide senior technical leadership in ecological resources, habitat conservation, and environmental permitting, while mentoring teams and developing new business opportunities.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in environmental science, engineering, or related field.
• 15+ years of progressive experience in environmental consulting.
• Proven leadership in mitigation and ecorestoration, including endangered species and habitat conservation.
• Deep understanding of conventional and renewable energy markets in North America.
• Strong business development track record, generating and delivering multi-million-dollar programs.
• Expertise in HCPs and regional permitting.

Responsibilities

• Lead business development and client engagement activities within Power, Diversified Energy, and Technology sectors.
• Provide senior technical leadership for biological resources, ecological restoration, habitat conservation, and environmental permitting programs.
• Support clients through project planning, permitting, construction, and operations phases.
• Develop and grow key client relationships while identifying opportunities for additional services.
• Mentor and develop technical staff and project managers.
• Collaborate with ERM partners and service line leaders to support regional and national growth initiatives.
• Drive project delivery excellence while meeting financial, safety, and quality objectives.
