Job summary

NeoGenomics Laboratories, Inc. is seeking a Technical Operations Scientist to lead development of diagnostic protocols, methods, and automated technology, with potential to serve as Project Manager or Supervisor.

The role requires mentoring staff and coordinating cross-functional projects to ensure timely delivery and quality results. The position emphasizes collaboration with management, external teams, and stakeholders to drive process improvements, validation, and production efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline is required.
• Six or more years of high complexity testing experience is preferred.
• Familiarity with CAP/CLIA and FDA (GCP/GLP as appropriate) requirements.
• Nationally: ASCP certification for the assigned specialty, as available.

Responsibilities

• Provides technical guidance and mentors laboratory staff in molecular techniques.
• Represents the department in diverse settings including audits, clients, vendors, conferences.
• Leads technical development projects and executes validation plans.
• Trains staff on新 procedures or protocols implemented in the laboratory.
• Manages project timelines and data collection across teams.
• Monitors equipment operation and reagent usage to improve performance.
• Drives project management processes from initiation to closure.
