NeoGenomics Laboratories, Inc. seeks a Molecular Operations Scientist in Durham, NC, onsite, Mon–Fri day shift. You will lead molecular techniques development, supervise staff, and manage projects from sample collection to data delivery.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in a scientific discipline, 6+ years bench experience in molecular/NGS, and ASCP MB certification. CAP/CLIA and FDA knowledge are essential for compliance and quality in a fast-paced lab.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline required; Master’s preferred.
• ASCP MB certification required or eligible.
• Six+ years of bench experience with Molecular/NGS testing.
• Familiar with CAP/CLIA and FDA requirements.
• Strong laboratory and analytical techniques knowledge.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a biohazard environment.

Responsabilidades

• Provides technical guidance and mentorship in molecular techniques.
• Leads development projects and validation plans.
• Trains staff on new procedures and protocols.
• Manages sample and data collection and project tasks.
• Monitors equipment usage and reagent consumption with management.
• Resolves analytical testing issues and responds to client inquiries.
