Job summary

Zscaler is seeking a hands-on Technical Marketing Engineer to drive POVs, build and maintain complex lab topologies, and provide field-ready guidance for Zero Trust Branch solutions. You will bridge engineering and field teams, enabling scalable deployment across distributed edge environments.

You will author deployment documents, runbooks, and reference architectures while delivering technical trainings to SEs and partners. A strong networking background and lab automation skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in technical marketing, solutions architecture, or advanced systems engineering with deep networking expertise.
• Proven track record of leading and winning POV pilots and executive evaluations in complex enterprise and distributed edge environments.
• Hands-on proficiency building multi-vendor lab topologies using bare‑metal, hypervisors, and emulation tools.
• Advanced packet analysis using Wireshark, tcpdump, and traffic generation to diagnose routing issues.

Responsibilities

• Lead POV engagements and field validations with enterprise prospects to validate capabilities and accelerate deal closure.
• Architect, build, and maintain advanced lab topologies simulating enterprise branches and edge networks.
• Troubleshoot and escalate networking issues during active customer pilots.
• Author deployment guides, reference architectures, and solution briefs to standardize best practices.
• Deliver field enablement training for systems engineers, services teams, and partners.
