Job summary

Cognizant in the United States is seeking a Technical Lead to design, develop, and deliver scalable enterprise applications using React.js, Spring Boot, Microservices, and Core Java. You will provide technical leadership across front-end and back-end teams and ensure solutions are reliable, secure, and aligned with business needs.

The role focuses on merchandising and commerce solutions to improve customer value and drive enterprise growth.

Qualifications

• 8 to 10 years of hands-on software development experience with Core Java, Spring Boot, React.js, and Microservices.
• Experience designing scalable microservices-based solutions with service orchestration and data consistency.
• Strong OOP, design patterns, clean code, and enterprise app architecture.
• Experience with unit testing, integration testing, automated quality practices, and production support readiness.
• Working knowledge of relational or NoSQL databases and data flows supporting merchandising or transactional systems.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, technical leadership, and stakeholder management in Agile delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end design and development of scalable enterprise applications using React.js, Spring Boot, Microservices, and Core Java.
• Drive architectural decisions across front-end and back-end components for maintainability, performance, security, and scalability.
• Collaborate with product managers, business analysts, QA teams, DevOps, and infrastructure partners to translate requirements into solutions.
• Oversee code quality, PR reviews, testing practices, technical documentation, and adherence to engineering standards.
• Mentor engineers, resolve complex technical issues, analyze production metrics, and drive continuous improvements in performance and reliability.
