Job summary

Cognizant in Atlanta, GA is seeking a Java Lead (React) to ensure service stability and drive operational excellence across critical platforms. You will collaborate with engineering, product, and business teams to improve reliability, performance, and customer satisfaction.

You will lead incident, change, and release activities, monitor health and capacity, and align technology with business goals while mentoring delivery teams on best practices.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Application Support, Service Delivery, or IT Service Management roles.
• Hands-on expertise with React.js, Spring Boot, Microservices Architecture, and Core Java.
• Experience managing incident, problem, change, release, and service request processes.
• Solid understanding of application monitoring, performance optimization, production support, and governance.
• Exposure to merchandising, retail, inventory management, pricing, or related business domains is preferred.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, analytical, and leadership skills.

You will be responsible for ensuring service stability, driving operational excellence, managing incidents and changes, and aligning technology services with business objectives. You will collaborate across engineering, product, and business teams to enhance application reliability, performance, and customer satisfaction.

Salary and Other Compensation

Applications will be accepted until 9/19/2026.

The annual salary for this position is between $65K to $115k depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
