Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Senior Full Stack Java Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable enterprise applications using Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and React.js. You will build REST APIs, work with relational databases, and participate in CI/CD and cloud deployments on AWS/Azure/GCP.

Hybrid work with 3 days in Mountain View. The role requires strong collaboration with cross-functional teams and a minimum of 10 years in Java-based development, with expertise in frontend and backend

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Java-based enterprise application development.
• Hands-on experience with React.js and modern frontend technologies.
• Proven ability to design RESTful APIs and integrate front-end with back-end services.
• Strong knowledge of OOP, design patterns, and software engineering principles.
• Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle).
• Proficient with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture.
• Build responsive and interactive user interfaces with React.js, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Design, develop, and consume RESTful APIs and integrate front-end with back-end services.
• Develop and optimize database structures and queries for PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Oracle.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, debugging, and performance tuning activities.
• Support CI/CD implementation and automate deployment processes.
• Develop and deploy cloud-native solutions leveraging AWS, Azure, or GCP; use Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.
