  • Conduct limited scope testing under engineer supervision on software and embedded platforms.
  • Complete tasks on time and gather data for engineers; assist with research as needed.
  • Assist with design calculations and provide appropriate details under supervision.
  • Demonstrate good communication to support mission, values and culture.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Responsibilities


  • Work closely with and assist engineers in the conduct of various engineering assignments

  • Work with microcontrollers and FPGA platforms in conjunction with developing PC based software application to communicate with the FW development platform.

  • Carry out basic work instructions that will help in understanding the fundamentals of the Company and also learn new things

  • Conduct limited scope testing under the supervision of engineers; Testing may range from dedicated software testing on PC platforms to integrated testing of firmware suits on embedded platforms.

  • Complete assigned tasks on time Gather and assemble data for engineers May be required to help in research in a particular field

  • Conduct design analysis and/or calculations under the supervision of engineers Assist engineers with appropriate design details

  • Must have good interpersonal skills and have the ability to build a good network

  • Perform a wide variety of tasks to gain familiarity with the engineering staff, methods, programs and practices Support, communicate, reinforce and defend the mission, values and culture of the organization

  • Other duties as assigned


Qualifications


  • High school diploma or GED

  • Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering (EE), or Computer Science (CS) Engineering student; some progress towards Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering (EE), or Computer Science (CS) engineering degree

  • Must have good interpersonal skills and have the ability to build a good network

  • Must be diligent, hardworking, and quick to learn


The salary range for this position is $22.67/hour - $32.42/hour.This range reflects the good faith estimate of pay the employer is willing to offer at the time of posting. Several factors can influence the pay scale, including but not limited to: Federal contract labor categories and contract wage rates, collective bargaining agreements, geographic location, business considerations, scope, and responsibilities of the position, local or other applicable market conditions, and internal equity. Other factors include the candidate’s qualifications such as prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education/training, and certifications. In addition to base pay, employees may be eligible for: annual performance-based bonuses, equity awards, and overtime pay (for non-exempt employees as applicable.
