T&M Associates in Bloomfield, NJ, is seeking a Technical Engineer Specialist to lead QA/QC oversight for municipal and public infrastructure projects. You will review designs, mentor staff, and implement rigorous QA/QC standards to ensure regulatory compliance and client satisfaction.

You will act as a regional technical resource, developing QA/QC procedures, guiding teams through project phases, and driving continuous improvement across the Northeast region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (required); PE license.
• 12+ years of civil engineering experience, focusing on municipal/public sector projects.
• Strong proficiency in design drawings and technical specifications for civil engineering projects; construction phase service.
• Experience conducting technical QA/QC reviews.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain QA/QC standards and procedures for project deliverables.
• Conduct comprehensive reviews of designs, specifications, reports, and calculations for regulatory alignment.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineering staff.
• Collaborate with project managers and design teams to identify and resolve technical issues.
• Develop and deliver internal technical training to promote best practices.
• Lead continuous improvement in tools, workflows, and design practices.
