Job summary

Delta Galil USA, Inc. in Secaucus, NJ is seeking a Senior Technical Designer to translate brand vision into technical specifications for garment production. You will work closely with designers and vendors to ensure accurate specs, fit, construction, and grading throughout development.

You’ll lead technical package development for designated product lines, participate in fit sessions, and maintain labeling and sample control. Onsite role with strong collaboration and attention to detail required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in fashion design required.
• Minimum of 8 years’ experience in garment manufacturing, product development, and specification development.
• Activewear tech design experience preferred.
• Detail oriented, collaborative, able to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Knowledge of apparel construction and garment specs essential.
• Familiarity with garment construction, patternmaking, fit and grading.
• Excellent communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Support development and maintenance of technical specification packages from 1st proto to production.
• Lead development and maintenance of technical packages for designated product/categories.
• Participate in fit sessions and communicate changes to achieve correct fit.
• Ensure accurate labeling and systematic storing of samples after line review.
• Review incoming samples for fidelity to specifications, styling, and construction.
• Prepare products for fit sessions and take detailed notes.
• Support data collection on return rates and stay current on fit and styling trends.
