Responsibilities include leading technical design workflows, developing detailed tech packs, and mentoring a design team while coordinating with Design, Product Development, and Production to keep projects on schedule.

Qualifications

• Strong technical design and garment construction expertise with a focus on fit, specs, and quality.
• Experience leading technical design workflows and managing cross-functional projects.
• Solid product development knowledge and ability to translate concepts into production-ready styles.
• Excellent communication and collaboration when working with internal teams and external vendors.
• Advanced proficiency with CAD, PLM systems, or digital pattern tools.
• 5+ years in technical design or related apparel field, including leadership experience.
• Degree in Fashion Design, Technical Design, Product Development, or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the technical design process from concept to production, ensuring fit, construction, and quality standards.
• Review design concepts and develop detailed technical packages with measurements and specs.
• Lead fit sessions and provide construction guidance to teams and vendors.
• Collaborate with Design, Product Development, and Production to resolve construction issues and keep schedules.
• Track project timelines and ensure consistency across styles and categories.
• Mentor technical design team and foster a collaborative environment.
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and quality.
• Support cross-functional communication to align with quality, cost, and timeline expectations.
