Ralph Lauren seeks a Senior Technical Designer to lead tech pack creation, maintenance, and approvals in PLM, serving as the technical expert for fit, construction, and execution decisions. You will ensure production-ready packages and drive standardization across the product area.

You will mentor Technical Designers, lead cross-functional discussions with Design, Product Management, and suppliers, and advance departmental tools and processes to improve efficiency and quality.

Qualifications

• Degree or certification in Apparel Manufacturing, Design, or related field.
• Advanced knowledge of garment construction, fit, patternmaking principles, and apparel manufacturing processes.
• Experience with tech-pack creation and PLM.
• Proven ability to mentor others.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead the creation, maintenance, and approval of tech packs in PLM.
• Serve as the technical expert for fit, construction, and execution decisions.
• Ensure hand-offs translate into production-ready technical packages.
• Develop tools, standards, and processes for efficient product execution.
• Own complex fit and construction challenges with cross-functional partners.
• Lead technical discussions with suppliers, factories, Design and Product Management.
• Maintain integrity and execution of assigned product categories through production approval.
• Drive accountability for seasonal deliverables and technical milestones.
• Analyze processes to improve efficiency, quality, and execution.
• Provide guidance and training to Technical Designers.
• Lead strategic departmental initiatives and new tool implementations.
• Foster partnerships and serve as trusted technical advisor.
• Represent Technical Design in cross-functional meetings.
• Maintain evolution of tools and processes within the product area.
