Job summary

Kforce Inc. is seeking a Manager of Technical Delivery in Madison, WI, to lead technical solution execution, quality, and development standards across client engagements.

The role blends strategic leadership with billable work and requires active involvement in architecture and implementation. The ideal candidate will own solution architecture, oversee end-to-end delivery, and establish scalable governance using Jira.

Qualifications

• Experience in technical delivery, solution architecture, engineering, or technology consulting leadership.
• Proven ability to lead technical teams in a client-services environment while remaining hands-on.
• Strong experience with CRM, data platforms, integrations, marketing technology, or healthcare technology.
• Experience with technical implementations, QA, release management, deployment governance, and Jira or similar tools.
• Strong client communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead developers, analysts, architects, and technical consultants across client engagements.
• Own solution architecture, technical design, feasibility, estimates, implementation, quality, and release readiness.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications and actionable development work.
• Oversee delivery from requirements through development, testing, deployment, and post-launch support.
• Serve as an escalation point for complex integrations, platform limitations, and technical risks.
• Establish technical standards, QA/testing processes, documentation, and development best practices.
• Own deployment and release governance, including version control, code promotion, peer review, rollback planning, and production validation.
• Establish scalable processes and governance using Jira and related tools.
• Manage team capacity, resource planning, coaching, skill development, and technical performance.
• Identify skill gaps and support hiring, training, and resource planning.
• Support pre-sales discovery, solution architecture, estimates, SOWs, and RFP responses.
• Partner closely with Client Delivery to align technical execution with project priorities, budgets, timelines, and client commitments.
