Qualifications

• 6-8 years of experience as a Technical Data Analyst in financial services, focusing on regulatory reporting and liquidity risk.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL for complex querying across large datasets.
• Deep experience with relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, DB2) and data warehousing concepts.
• Experience with Big Data technologies (Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, AWS S3, Databricks).
• Strong data modeling, data governance, and SDLC knowledge.
• Proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, QlikView) and Excel.
• Experience with Python or R is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication and ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Consult with business clients to determine system specifications and partner with multiple teams to meet objectives.
• Define, document, and validate data requirements, data flows, and data lineage.
• Provide technical input during development, including data architecture enhancements for complex projects.
• Design and develop data models to support reporting, analytics, and business processes.
• Prepare data for AI/ML model development and ensure data quality.
• Utilize SQL for data extraction and analysis from various databases and data warehouses.
• Develop dashboards and reports using Tableau, Power BI, or QlikView.
• Lead analysis of complex data sets to identify trends and risks related to regulatory reporting and liquidity.
• Identify data-related risks and propose mitigation options.
• Evaluate new data technologies and recommend system enhancements.
• Serve as advisor or coach to junior analysts.
• Assess risk and ensure compliance with laws and Citigroup policies.
