Pact is seeking a Senior Technical Advisor, Transition and Sustainability, within the Global Health team. You will lead transition planning, ensure continuity of essential health services, and strengthen government and partner capacities across multiple countries.

The role emphasizes technical leadership, cross-country learning, and collaboration with government, partners, and USG counterparts to advance sustainable health outcomes.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree and 9+ years of global health programming experience.
• Experience with USG-funded programs and compliance requirements.
• Experience leading transition, sustainability, and health systems strengthening initiatives.
• Experience coordinating with national and subnational governments.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership on transition and sustainability for HIV and health systems.
• Develop and review transition plans with milestones and readiness criteria.
• Advise on phased handover, integration, or institutionalization of services.
• Mentor country transition leads and coordinate cross-country learning.
• Monitor progress and report on readiness, risks, and results.
