Job summary

EPRI seeks a Technical Advisor III in Florida Home Office to cultivate strong client relationships, understand client needs, and position EPRI’s technical offerings across sectors. The role requires deep utility sector knowledge and the ability to drive revenue growth.

The candidate will lead engagements from needs assessment to close, deliver expert technical support, and collaborate with program managers and marketing to shape the R&D portfolio yearly. Travel ~50% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline, engineering preferred.
• Fifteen years electric utility or similar industry experience with a minimum of seven years experience in selling complex technical solutions.
• Strong account management and sales practices from needs assessment to close.
• Ability to engage at all levels within client organizations.
• Broad understanding of the energy industry and specific expertise in the assigned sector.
• Demonstrated technical proficiency in assigned sector.
• Effective presentation development and delivery skills.

Responsibilities

• Establish relationships at decision-making levels to drive revenue growth.
• Proactively identify EPRI products and solutions to meet client needs.
• Manage client engagement through the sales close with cross-functional support.
• Provide technical support and training to the sector sales team.
• Capture client and market feedback to influence future EPRI R&D portfolio.
• Promote EPRI tools and results across client organizations.
• Travel up to ~50% to engage clients and end users.
