Job summary

Envestnet is seeking a seasoned accounting professional to join the Technical Accounting & Reporting team in a remote capacity with preference for CT, NY, NJ or MA. You will engage in GAAP reporting, MD&A preparation, and support external auditors on quarterly and annual filings.

The role requires CPA (or active pursuit) and solid experience with 10-K/10-Q. You will partner with Finance, FP&A, Legal, Tax and Treasury to ensure accurate financial disclosures and regulatory compliance, while

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
• CPA is required or in process.
• Experience with 10-K/10-Q filings and GAAP reporting.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and SEC reporting for corporate entities.
• Experience auditing or with public companies or financial services.
• Technical accounting, analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Workiva.

Responsibilities

• Prepare financial statements, footnotes and MD&A.
• Support external auditors and prepare SEC filings (10-Q, 10-K, 8-K).
• Analyze financial data, identify variances and drive remediation.
• Coordinate with internal teams and investor relations.
• Lead preparation and distribution of quarterly consolidated statements.
• Research new disclosures and advise on improvements.
