The ideal candidate has 4+ years in public accounting or SEC reporting, a strong grasp of U.S. GAAP, and experience with accounting research.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA preferred.
• 4+ years of experience in public accounting and/or SEC reporting, consolidations, or technical accounting.
• Direct hands-on experience preparing or reviewing SEC filings.
• Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting requirements.
• Exposure to SOX compliance and internal controls in financial reporting.
• Experience researching accounting guidance and preparing analyses and memos.
• Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Research accounting guidance and prepare supporting documentation for analyses.
• Assist in preparation and review of SEC disclosures and footnotes (Forms 10-K, 10-Q, 11-K).
• Collaborate with finance teams and stakeholders to support technical accounting deliverables.
• Assess new accounting standards and regulatory developments and their impact on reporting.
• Support SOX compliance and disclosure controls within financial reporting processes.
• Prepare accounting memoranda and working papers for reviews and decisions.
• Utilize reporting systems and automation to improve accuracy and efficiency.
• Ensure timely delivery of accurate external reporting through project management.
