Job summary

Brewer Morris is seeking a Senior Manager of Technical Accounting in Fort Lauderdale to lead accounting policy development, evaluate complex transactions, and partner with senior leadership on critical financial matters.

You will guide GAAP analyses, manage external auditors, and mentor the accounting team while driving process improvements for reporting accuracy and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting; advanced degree is a plus
• CPA is required
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience (mix of prior public accounting is preferred)
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting
• Ability to interpret complex accounting guidance and communicate recommendations to business stakeholders
• Proven project management skills and ability to balance multiple priorities
• Experience supporting acquisitions, business combinations, consolidations, or other complex accounting matters is highly valued

Responsibilities
