Job summary

Enerpac Tool Group Corp. in Milwaukee, WI is seeking a Technical Accounting Lead to join the Global Controllership team. You will research and document accounting conclusions under U.S. GAAP, support acquisitions/divestitures, and liaise with external auditors to ensure accurate disclosures.

The role partners across Finance, supports Form 10-Q/K, and helps implement new accounting standards while mentoring team members in a global environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required.
• CPA certification is required.
• Five or more years of progressive experience in accounting, auditing, or related fields.
• Public accounting experience, preferably Big Four, is strongly preferred.
• Deep knowledge of U.S. GAAP, SEC reporting, internal controls, and accounting research.

Responsibilities

• Lead research and evaluation of complex accounting matters under U.S. GAAP.
• Evaluate global accounting matters including IFRS and differences with US GAAP.
• Prepare technical memoranda for senior finance leadership and external auditors.
• Communicate accounting conclusions clearly to stakeholders across the organization.
• Lead implementation of new accounting standards and coordinate with external firms.
• Develop and maintain accounting policies and governance for GAAP compliance.
• Support month-end/quarter-end close and external reporting processes.
