Job summary

Ramp is seeking a Technical Accounting Manager to join our Accounting team. You will draft and update accounting policies, support US GAAP adoption, and partner across the business to ensure accurate technical accounting reviews and timely close for multiple entities.

You will mentor the team, work with auditors, and drive automated reporting improvements in collaboration with Engineering and Data teams. A CPA with Big 4 background is preferred.

Qualifications

• Six-plus years of experience in external audit, accounting, or advisory (Big 4, manager level or above).
• In-house Fintech/tech experience is a plus.
• Strong technical accounting background; able to interpret complex standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement technical accounting policies and reporting for all Ramp products and services.
• Lead technical accounting discussions with auditors, advisors, and stakeholders.
• Research accounting standards and assess impacts of proposed transactions.
• Support month-end close with complex reconciliations and journal entries.
• Lead audits and streamline cross-functional processes.
• Mentor team members and collaborate with Engineering/Data teams to automate close processes.
