Job summary

Highspring is seeking a Manager of Financial & Technical Accounting to lead technical accounting, ensure GAAP compliance, and drive scalable global processes. You will guide policy development, support audits, and collaborate with Finance, Legal, Tax, and FP&A to enable growth in a PE-backed environment.

The role requires strong technical accounting expertise, a hands-on leadership style, and a track record of building efficient, compliant accounting operations across international entities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA required
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience with leadership and international exposure
• Experience in a private equity-backed company preferred
• Background in consulting, staffing, or professional services industries desirable
• Strong knowledge of GAAP; IFRS experience a plus
• Technical accounting expertise including revenue recognition, intercompany eliminations, stock compensation/equity, transfer pricing
• Experience with global consolidations and multi-entity environments
• Audit management and external stakeholder interaction experience
• ERP proficiency especially NetSuite; Workday Adaptive a plus

Responsibilities

• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements per GAAP/IFRS
• Manage audits and regulatory compliance across jurisdictions
• Lead day-to-day accounting: revenue recognition, lease, fixed assets
• Oversee multi-entity consolidations and intercompany transactions
• Partner with exec leadership and PE stakeholders on reporting & metrics
• Drive process improvements and automation, close cycle efficiency
• Build and mentor a global accounting team
• Ensure internal controls and accounting policies are up-to-date
